The middle picture shows off his “fancy pants”.
The third one, he’s waiting for me to leave, so he can get back to the hole he’s digging!!
ohhhhhh those new fancy pants are looking good! If you do not know what we are talking about it is the long hair that grows in on the back of their legs, by the tail. Their “panties.”

Forgot to add how our 2nd week of puppy school went. We played hard. No naps. Lots of cookies. Played on agility stuff, like the dog walk, tunnel, tire, and 2 jumps. Did sitz, downs, stands, stays, and walking nicely on a loose leash (not). That’s alot for a puppy to do, so I improvise….I make it as much fun as we can. I whip out toys, tossed treats, change spots often….kept it fun and upbeat for my DuKester.
Can’t have my puppy being bored or stressed, especially at puppy class. We have one more week…..then I’ll probably enter him in it again, for socialization (for both of us!). 🙂
Carole, I’ve learned along time ago..If I don’t come away from training drenched in sweat….I didn’t do enough. bleph… And when all the other puppy trainees look at me like “huh?”..again I’m ok.
It’s all about my dog. 🙂
Hey Bro – good job, we gotta protect our sticks. Your puppy class sounds like fun, lots to learn and do. I’m going to Carole’s tomorrow to teach my parents some stuff. Loose leash, what’s that??? I like to keep mine at tight as I can so mom and dad really have to hold on:)
Like your new collar, dad got me one too and a leash ’cause I guess I’m not supposed to chew on it. Hope your teeth are better. Mine are finally coming through thanks to all the stuff I’ve been chewing on.
Hi Digger,
DuKes’ sleeping, so I thought I would chat with you. I rarely make your brother walk nice on a leash, there is plenty of time for learning to heel, right now I want him exploring and venturing out, pulling to help his muscles, having fun chasing leaves and stuff.
That collar is his *Premiere* collar. I like these best for pups, oh and big dogs too. I also got him a nice rolled leather one…but he hardly ever wears it.
Teeth…oh ouchy. I looked in his mouth today and I saw more big back ones just at the surface. Poor kids, I feel bad for you.
Tell your Mom to take some pictures of you, ok?
Hugs and kisses,
DuKes’ Ma, Terri

Good job Terri. Most new dog owners do not know to do that kind of stuff.
Yep, and they give me strange looks! 🙂 I’m hoping they’ll try it with their pups too.
He is looking like quite the handsome young man, with excellant stick guarding skills!
I agree, Patti. And yes, he does love his sticks! 🙂
LOL you are funny Patti!
Very nice pants! Sounds like you guys are having fun with puppy class. That’s the way to do it—keep him busy!
