Cape Cod did not escape the Blizzard of 2013. The snow started on Friday at about noon. Unfortunately the snow was mixed with rain as the temperatures stayed above freezing. The result was a covering of about 2 inches of slush before the snow started in earnest. During the night the wind picked up with gusts of over 84 miles per hour. This morning we woke up to about a foot of snow covering the frozen 2″ of slush. The strong winds continued throughout the day and the snow finally stopped falling at about 6:00pm. We are fortunate to still have our power while many on the Cape are in the dark and cold.
The “boys” think that a blizzard is just the greatest thing!
The view out our front window
Looking out the back slider
Dylan takes no guff
Catching snowballs
My Mum’s dog, Daisy, playing with Aiden
Everyone going into Gran’s house for a treat
Julie, can I come over for some Mac and Cheese?
Hope that everyone stayed safe and made the best of a bad winter storm.
Oh, Dylan—even I’d make you Mac & Cheese! 🙂
Great video and now I bet the boys are all snuggled in their bed.
Lynda, first…glad you and your family are safe and warm. This one missed us. Isn’t it fun playing out in the snow with our doggies? 🙂
Love Dylan in the last picture and the one of the pack going to Grans’ with Dylan in the lead. 🙂

Glad you are all doing well and still have power. The gang looks like they are having a blast. Love the video!
Is there anything better then watching dogs play in the show?
Nothing like a good snow storm…as long as you are safe and warm at home with your loved ones…and the pantry is full! The mac and cheese was good. I was heeling around the living room with Max using it as a reward, he loved it. We had chocolate milk instead of hot chocolate. yum
ME ME ME….Julie…pick me (hand raised in the air and waving..but, you can’t see it)..
You ask “Is there anything better then watching dogs play in the snow?”
I say “YES! Playing in the snow WITH THEM!!” 🙂 LOL

Lynda,
Loved the video of the kids playing… I could sit and watch it again and again.
Glad you made thru the blizzard OK… it was a rough one… or so I hear all the way down in sunny Florida… 🙂
The view out your front window is beautiful! Back yard too for that matter. It’s funny to me all these pictures of how the dogs love the snow and them standing in creeks with snow on the banks and loving it. Poor Kai -no snow for him.
Nice to see Aiden has Daisey who looks like she does not take any GSD adolescent guff. Amazing how they always know that Gran has the goodies. Looks like all of the fur kids enjoyed the blizzard.
Lynda, hope you all are safe and sound!
