Topline is planning to do a t-shirt as a fund raiser. Attached are two graphics, ignore the quote, we plan to use it regardless of the graphic we use. Which GSD sillouette do you prefer?

Would appreciate if you could give some reasons.

Hi Irene! The only reason I prefer the one on the right is because the front legs on the left one look short and stunted, like a praying mantis! It’s because silhouette of the dog on the left is rotated a bit more, rather than being in full profile, so we can only see half of his front legs. However, everything else on the dog on the left is better: I love the expression shown on his face, which is lifted toward his master, eyes focused, ears listening for direction, mouth open but non-threatening. HIs chest is deep, and his back legs support him with balance and strength – his posture demonstrates a dog eager to please. The dog on the right seems to have a slightly sagging belly, oversized unbalanced thighs, and a skinny tail.
No you haven’t offended! I agree with everything you said. My preference is the one on the left because it appears overall a better representation of a GSD. I keep want to tell the one on the left to sit straight!
I like the dog on the left, but agree with Beverly about the front legs, something about them is very distracting. However everything else is more pleasing. The big “tuck-up” on the dog on the right is looks like a very poor underline! 🙂
Irene I cannot get the link to work.
me either . can’t see anything.
try again. I think I fixed it.
Irene

Would appreciate if you could give some reasons.

I hope I haven’t offended anyone!
