Yes, they are beyond adorable when they’re asleep. Roman is amaaaazing! Any similarities with Roman, even “sleeping Roman,” are a delight to my ears!
I am so happy to hear that Willa is feeling better, and back in action. We can’t wait to see pictures of her again!
Dutch is stopping traffic around the little gated community of Aberdeen, in Ormond Beach, FL, with his great looks and improved fus’ing. People actually pull over to admire him and ask questions, while he just sits there patiently, looking like a rock star. Just when my head is about to explode with pride, someone will approach us with a little dog that starts barking and lunging at Dutch while its owner yells, “no! no!” to the little killer. I try using every tool on my belt, but eventually, treats are worthless, and Dutch releases the yellow rope-ball we’re tugging, and lets the little monster know that his life is hanging by a thread. Usually this subdues them, but some of the raging little furballs try to escalate their attack. Either way, the owners always either whisk them up, or drag them away. I don’t know whether he’ll ever be calm, but I’m hoping to gain more control over him during these kinds of situations, even when he’s not the initiator.
