She is doing a little better and looks like Monday or Tuesday, they will be moving us to St. Paul, MN. The hospital there is a rehabilitation hospital that will get her strong enough to travel back to Michigan. They are saying the stay will be 2 or 3 weeks as long as everything goes well and I know it will. We are going to miss Thanksgiving but would love to be back in Michigan before David’s fifth birthday on December 11th. Will update next week with new address. We love you all and have a great weekend.
That’s great news Al !!!! Continued prayers to you both!!
I forgot to put in the update that my company that I have worked at for about 6 years has called me and may have to terminate my employement. Seams that my family leave act has expired and they say they understand that I have to take care of my wife, they have a company to take care of. I guess I understand what they are saying but pray they don’t have to go through with it. It is what it is, and they have to do what they have to do, and I would love to keep working for them. But if not, I will find another one as soon as I get home. I am about at my wits end with this hospital stuff and if I was to let this job problem get to me. I will probably go off the deep end. Along with the prayers and well wishes for Karen. Please say a prayer for peace that passes all understanding. Thank you all and we love you all.
I don’t understand, the FMLA leave is up, so what? What does it cost them to keep you on an extended leave of absence?
Wow, nice job support ! That sucks Al, but sometimes things happen for a reason, keep the faith.
Keep in there Al. I can only be strong from afar for you. I agree with the company “sucks.” Better opportunities await – that’s how that works.

Hang in there, Al. I’m sorry to hear about the job situation. You are handling it as well as you possibly can. God bless you and Karen and David. We are praying for you all, and hope that our prayers lift you.
I’m grateful to hear that Karen is doing a little better. Thank you for keeping us updated.
