Luckily for us (but unfortunately for NJ & NY) the hurricane took a turn to the left and hit the coast there rather than a direct hit on Cape Cod. We were spared the brunt of the bad weather. The upper Cape area took more of a hit but here on the lower Cape we just had some high wind gusts and a little rain. There are pine needles, leaves and small branches everywhere but no major damage to our area. We were lucky to not even lose power here. Some areas of Harwich and Brewster did lose power.
On Wednesday the weather was fine and we were able to return to training after being gone for three sessions because of NASS.
Mario loves the way Dylan tracks. Dylan grunts and snorts the whole track!
Aiden is developing nicely.
Heeling.
Much to my surprise Mario called for a group. This was Aiden’s first time in a group and he never once looked at anyone but me. Good boy!
Looooong recall.
The boy LOVES protection!
So proud of himself.
We CAN all get along.
Our days off are Wednesdays and Sundays. Since Wednesday is our training day today was clean up day. We insisted that Aiden had to help.
Aiden claims that he collected these leaves and pine needles all by himself.
Jack swears that Aiden’s story is true. Such a Daddy’s boy.
This doesn’t look like helping to me.
The boys say they were just taking a quick break.
My good friend Andrea (yes, Carole…she is my friend!) sent me some pictures she took at NASS. These are two of my many favorites. Thanks Andrea.

Lynda,
Nice training pics. I think your boys are better at tracking, recalls, and heeling than they are at yard work. 🙂

I love to see your boys work. They just love everything in which you involve them, well maybe not the yard work. Aiden is buttering up his Dad nicely there!
Glad to see Aiden, Owen and Lamont getting along so well. Everyone looks so calm on that shot. You guys do an awesome job.
Glad you liked the photographs – I enjoyed taking them.
ditto everything Andrea said.
You know what Lynda? Your posts remind me of James Herriot. Your narration is very similar to his style and they have the same effect on me. reading James Herriot would always lift my spirits. Your posts do the same thing for me. They celebrate life and bring to the fore-front the humor in everyday things….and the best thing is they make me feel all is right with the world. I say this with complete sincerity…thank you for being you.
again…I’m hitting the “like” button a thousand times!
That’s funny about Dylan, he doesn’t look like the grunting, snorting type. 😀
Great narration Lynda, I always look forward to your new adventures with the kiddos.
Lynda, the boys look great! I LOVE tracking pictures. And glad to see you’re still making them do their chores….snort. 🙂
Great pictures. You guys are doing a marvelous job with Aiden.
