To update you all on Karen. She has been running a fever overnight, BP are low and one of her drain tubes plugged up. The on call Doc came in overnight and got the drain tube flowing and this morning the Transplant team ordered a chest x-ray for the fever and the CT scan for the stomach area (possible another infection ) to early to tell. She is also in a lot of pain which could be the infection. Will update later.
I am so sorry to keep posting bad news. She has been doing good since the surgery and I took a minute to catch my breath and before I could post that she was doing good, this happens. I am not saying this is bad news but it does have them concerned. I want to so badly post good news but my wife and best friend just cant catch a break. I don’t know why she is going through so much and God knows she did nothing to deserve any of this. I just want her back so we can run around the GSD fields “together”. I need her, David needs her and the dogs need her. God give her a break.
I know how badly you want to post good news Al. But I am thankful you let us know what is going on with Karen. No she does not deserve this and yes she is due for a break. We are all praying that one comes soon. XOXO
Thank you!
I’m glad you posted news, even it was not good news. I’ve been wondering how she was doing. I’ll keep praying for her, you and David.
Thank you for keeping us updated, Al. You and Karen are in my thoughts and prayers. Actually, we all need Karen! She is one of the best.
Thank you, Al. Stay strong. We are praying for you and your beloved Karen.
We are all with you Al, in spirit, if not in body. You are both amazingly strong and I am sure this will get you through to happier, healthier times.
Al, Art & I are praying for you and the family. Lily send her love and if you need help with the dogs we’re just up in Rockford if you need us!
