When we left Camp Kayla to bring Fenris home, Barb and Susan gave him a parting gift of a stuffed gator. It never had a true name, we just called it Gator.
Fenris LOVED Gator. It was one of his favorite toys. I’m pretty sure it fueled Fenris’s love of squeaky things.
Here are the two of them in Gator’s early stages, still stuffed and squeaker intact. Time was not great to Gator. He quickly lost his stuffing and his squeaker was mangled during the loss of puppy teeth. Still, Fenris loved it all the same.
Sadly, every story must come to an end. I’m not entirely sure what happened but, here’s how we found Gator.
I tried to explain to Fenris that Gator is gone but, he just doesn’t understand. He’s still in the denial stage of grief.
Poor Gator, he never saw it coming and he never had a chance.
RIP Gator 🙁 You’ll be in stuffed toy heaven with Roman’s giant tomato.
LOL! I was laughing so hard at this. Thanks for sharing the short but full life of Mr. Gator.
Oh, dear. I hope Fenris heals from the trauma. 🙂
The kid needs a new gator.
A good washing and Gator will be as good as new…sort of.
Now that gator sure got a lot of lovin’ ! The Aunties in FL will surely have to rectify the situation.
I hope you didn’t throw gator away in front of Fenris. At this age it could be damaging to his psyche! Lily had a snake like this…I never knew how much stuffing a 2 foot snake had until hers died.
ROTFLOL—-Poor Gator looks like he went thru a shredder. Along with Roman’s Giant tomato he will be joined by Libby’s hedgehog. I would never have been able to post those pictures, it was just too disturbingly gruesome.
LOL, !!! Oh dear, the gator has bit the dust, what can be done?? hmmmmmm:)
