Aiden, Fenris and Ziva are entered in the Orange County Schaeferhund Klub Mid-Atlantic Regional Show tomorrow.
Jack, Aiden, Dylan and I drove to New York on Friday to make a weekend out of it. We got the chance to meet Presi, James and Fenris at the hotel we were staying at and visited for a while.
Today we went sighseeing. We tried to go to West Point in enroll Aiden but traffic was a nightmare as Army had a home football game! We went to see the Hudson River and went up Bear Mountain. We were able to take the dogs for a nice walk. We met people with dogs, people on motorcycles and people hiking….all great opportunites for socialization.
Later in the day we stopped at the show site where they were just finishing the breed surveys. We were able to check in for tomorrow’s show and get some ring practice in. Presi took this picture for us of Aiden being stacked. He is 5.25 months old.
Good luck at the show today!
Everyone did great! Aiden and Ziva got VP2 in their classes and Fenris was VP1 (in a class of 1)
Good job to all for getting the highest rating!
That is GREAT! Congratulations to all three pups for the VP sweep!
My understanding is that the class size determines rank, but not rating. The judge would not have given Fenris a VP rating if he was not deserving of it, no matter what the class size. Way to go, Fluff Monster!
Jennie, you are absolutely right!
Congratulations, Lynda! I love these pictures, and can’t wait to meet you and Lisa and EVERYONE (human and hound!) at NASS.
Thanks for sharing!
Aiden is turning into a gorgeous boy!!
