I can’t believe a year has gone by already. Max amazes me day in and day out with his ability to make me laugh when he walks into a tree or gets his head stuck in my sweatshirt on the ground because he wanted to wear clothes like his Momma. He is such a versatile dog that exceeds any expectations I ever had of him. He has a great work ethic and a little bit of drive (ok, that’s an understatement…he has a LOT of drive) which makes IPO training so much fun. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us and am expecting great things, but most of all I love this dog with all of my heart and cannot imagine my life without him. Thank you Julie for providing me my best friend, one in which I can count on to always be there for me with a devotion and loyalty that mankind cannot match.
Happy Birthday Beautiful Max !!!!! I am looking forward to seeing Max continue to develop into a gorgeous young dog! 🙂
Very well said, Jackie! I love the one year long glimpse into Max’s life too. I can’t believe he was ever that small! He is such a handsome boy. I’m lucky to be able to occasionally play with him. I wish you both many, many more years of happiness together!
Happy B-D Max. You look as handsome as ever!
Hugs & sloppy kisses from your brother U-Rock!
Loved the “rewind” on the pictures Jackie. It never fails to amaze me how quickly they grow from a little worm to a big IPO protector. I ditto everything you said about our boys and about Julie. So many times I thank my lucky stars for finding Julie and bringing a piece of her world to mine.
Happy Birthday Max!! Max is just gorgeous…these U-Litter boys are such teenage hunks…can’t wait to watch them mature! I love your Then-Now photos, thanks for sharing:)
This is so sweet. I remember when Max was 6 weeks old and “picked” Scott out at Julie’s house. You and Scott have done great things with him — it’s wonderful to see him consistently exceed your expectations on the training field, while also being a much-loved member of your family at home. Max was right when he picked Scott almost a year ago — he knew he found the perfect family!
Jackie, Max sure is one hunk of a dog! You’ve done a great job with him. Happy Birthday, Max!
Happy Birthday Max! I’ll never forget when you came to get your prelim x-rays…you were such a goofy clown 🙂
Happy Birthday Ulrich Maximus. U are a gorgeous boy.
Jackie,
It’s great to see all the pictures as Max grew up over the year. I’m looking forward to seeing you and Max at NASS next month.
Retrospectives are my favorite. Thank you Jackie for taking the time to putting it together.
Happy Birthday Max!
No way has it been a year! How did Max get older but I didn’t??
