Sometimes, we just need to LOL:

In the waiting room at the veterinary office, a Chihuahua tries to get attention of the German Shepherd, who is ignoring him.  Finally, the German Shepherd responds, “What is your problem?”  The Chihuahua says, “I was home alone yesterday, and I was worried that my humans were never coming back to me.  I ripped up the sofa, chewed up the kitchen chairs, and scratched on the front door for hours trying to get out.   They came home in a really bad mood, yelling and hollering, and they said the vet was going to give me a shot and put me away forever, whatever that means.  Why are you here?”

The German Shepherd replied, “Well, my lady was home alone last night, so she invited me to sleep in her bedroom.  Do you know how comfortable those human beds are?  I climbed in, and she didn’t stop me.  One thing led to another, and here I am.”

The Chihuahua asked, “But, why are you here?  Are they going to put you away forever, too?”

“No,” replied the German Shepherd.  “I am here to get my nails trimmed.”
