Hi Julie-
I’ve been wanting to send you a note to let you know we are thinking of you, but so far, the words have not come to me. Then, as I was going through some photos we took last weekend, I came across this and I just wanted to say thank you. Although I am sure you are far from being at peace, trust in the fact that so many of us have peace and love in our hearts because of you and your wonderful, loving dogs. Dale is a man that shows little emotion, but the expression on his face here is pure love. We all love Millie, but the bond between these two is unmistakable. They are so happy when they are together, and without you, this happiness wouldn’t be. Thank you for all that you do for your dogs and the A-T Family. We all feel proud to be part of such an amazing group of people, all lead by you.
I am hoping and praying for you, that peace and happiness with find it’s way back into your heart.
Sarah
Very well said Sarah, and that’s a great photo.
Very nice picture, and what you wrote are our feelings also.
I feel like Sarah, the words just don’t come.
I feel that German Shepherds Dogs are the quintessence of animal and human bonding and from what I’ve read and seen on this blog over the past 4 years, Julie’s dogs have a gift like few others, especially with challenged people and children. Julie, her dogs, and her puppies are a testament to the breed.
Thank you Sarah for this loving picture. The Alta Tollhaus dogs’ legacy will live on through all of your beautiful GSD’s.

AGREED!
This was a beautiful post. Thank you for sharing that picture.
Perfectly stated. Thank you, Sarah. I love that photo as well.
Julie’s dogs have completely transformed my life, and I will be forever thankful.
Your photograph speaks volumes – no words are necessary.
Sarah,
Your words touched me deeply. This photograph supersedes words.
If I could vote for a pulitzer this would be my nomination.
Thank you so much Sarah.
Julie
