Our local Saturday outdoor market had a dog theme this past Saturday. Besides the regular booths, they had dog related businesses as well as many local rescues and our area police dogs. The girls made many new friends and I am pleased to see that they can be polite and social when together as well as separately. The girls got their usual accolades regarding their beauty and behavior. What makes me smile most is the pride my husband shows when “his” dogs get compliments. It could just be my imagination but I believe these two really enjoy the limelight and know when to be “on”.
Off topic – At training this Sunday, one of our newer members said he recommended “my breeder” to a friend. He said he told his friend, “I’m happy with my dog but we have three in our club from Alta-Tollhaus and they are all great dogs and the owners say she is really great!”
Who’s who? I can’t tell which is Sade! They both look beautiful and so happy! I bet they enjoyed all the attention.
What a nice thing to say about Julie. She really IS great, a wonderful person, a great friend.
Thank you Josie, and that goes right back at you. Sade is the one that looks like Allie jr. the one with the big ‘ol noggin.
Ina is on the left, Sade on the right (?). This is when my dyslexia shows up, I am never sure about direction. Sade is slightly bigger, and has the bigger head and ears and is slightly redder than Ina.
As far as I am concerned, Julie is the greatest! I see a lot of great dogs coming through our classes but Julie is one of the only breeders who breeds such wonderful consistency as far as temperament. It is one thing to breed some exceptional dogs. Julie breeds puppy after puppy and litter after litter where they are all terrific!
Irene, they both look gorgeous… you should be very proud of their looks and their temperament. It is difficult enough sometime to walk one dog in a park but you do it with two wonderful dogs.
P.S. Do you like the double leash you are using for both? I’ve been contemplating on buying one for Lindy & U-Rock.
And ditto everything you two said about Julie… and what personally amazes me about her is how she cares and keeps in touch with all of us and our dogs. Thanks Julie for being who you are and for raising such wonderful dogs for all of us to enjoy!
I love my leash. (a disclaimer – I make and sell them so I am a bit biased) My couplers have a swivel on each end as well as on the leash. That really cuts down on tangling and it is much easier than two leashes. I sell a lot of them and get lots of compliments on how well they work.

Thanks for the link Irene. I’ll be checking it out.
Can I email you with any questions thru the web site’s email address?
Is this your website Irene? This is the perfect gift for my sister!
Thanks. Yes that is my website and you can email me or call me if you have questions or special requests.
Irene I understand about your husband. It is always warms my hear to hear Mos bragging about his GSD. I don’t think it is your imagination I think they know when to turn it on. Please give my thanks to your newer club member for the referral. Because of things around here I have not been returning phone calls or answering emails, but I hope to catch up on them soon.
He rolls his eyes when people ask me questions about GSDs but he listens well because I have overheard him explain what you want to look for in a good breeder, etc.
He tells people heis not a dog person but he loves my dogs because he loves me. I guess he is a keeper as well.
Thank you all for the compliments. I wish I could say that I bred perfect dogs 100% of the time, but I cannot. I do try very hard. No matter what there will be some problems. Sometimes the problem is not always the dog, sometimes I mess up place a puppy with people that should not have a puppy and of course the puppy is the one that suffers because of my mistake. The hardest thing is when people say they want x, y, and z. You give them exactly what they ask for and then they find out they liked the idea of x, y, and z, but it ins’t really what they wanted….sorry got off on a tangent there.
No one is perfect. It is when things don’t work out, you find what someone is made of. You are there for your dogs. In my book that is huge!
Take care and see you soon!
Like Ina and Sade, Julie’s dogs are in a class of their own. Look at those two girls! What a stunning pair.
Julie, everyone makes mistakes, that’s just part of being human. You found a perfect match for me with Batman. You really listened to me, and it made all the difference.
Thank you, Julie!
I love all the fun things you do with your dogs Irene.
Sade does have Allie’s head. She’s beautiful!
Ditto what everyone said about Julie!!!
