Hi there, I just wanted to take a moment to introduce our beloved Xavi to the AT family. At the beginning of this journey, as Julie can attest 🙂 my beloved wife Lili was not keen on the idea of getting a dog, much less a “big, drooling and hairy German Shepherd”. I persevered as I truly felt that Julie was the best breeder anyone could want. I have had 10+ GSDs and one Golden Retriever, while most of them were great we are so happy and blessed to have found Julie and to have Xavi in our life. Sidenote: We chose his name in honor of a two great Spanish soccer players and I thought it was a great name! but, when we told Julie she made a face that said “WHAT are you naming him?” I didn’t realize that Xavi sounds too much Iike “Shabby” (might be my british accent…). Anyway, once I realized Julie thought we were naming him Shabby I understood her face and she still let us have him! Kudos for being tolerant and accepting, lol.
Xavi is anything but shabby, he is handsome, smart and carries himself with such confidence that people everywhere have nothing but praises for him. Xavi is going everywhere with us and has had zero issues, his temperament is rock solid and he is such a bright boy. To close, my wife is a great dog lover now, the kids are so in love with him, Xavi is welcome everywhere we go because he is so fun yet calm and appropriate indoors and he gets bigger and cuter every day.
Welcome to the family! Looks like he is a lovely pup and a lucky one as well. Looking forward to ready about his adventures.

Beautiful photos Rod! Thank you for sharing. I like the name it wasn’t your British accent, it was the kids’ pronunciation that I had a hard time understanding.
