I sent this picture to Julie who requested that I post it. It’s not much, but I took this shot last night with my cell phone in the nanoseconds in between Brody trying to bite me. After only a week his ears are starting to come up. They are kind of half raised here, but when we’re training and he’s focused on me they have been all the way up!

Immediately after this was taken I put my boots back on. Lesson learned.
In the week and a half he’s been with me he has been an extremely good puppy, aside from the chomps. We’ve been working on lots of redirection to toys instead of fingers and any other body part within reach. It’s slow, but he is starting to get it!
Great picture! What a cutie. Ruki had one ear up, then it went down and the other went up, now he sometimes puts both up.
