After being lucky enough to work with so many A-T dogs and what seems like hundreds of puppies, I finally have one here at home with me. I can’t thank Julie enough for her kindness, compassion, and never ending efforts to please everybody. I am truly fortunate and extremely lucky to have Julie pick out a pup for me, and to call her my friend.
So, here is my new buddy. This is Broderick “Brody” vom Alta-Tollhaus. Black and red skull collar boy, B-litter Dux vom Glockenheide x Pala vom Trafalga. In just two days he has shown incredible drive, confidence, cognition skills, and a love of fingers. Toes too. Those really get you jumping.
Did I mention he loves fingers and toes?
AWWWW….I LOVE him!! I am so happy for you! I’m really excited that I will be able to see you guys at Gustavo’s. Brody is one handsome cow hunting boy! He’s so sweet looking in that first picture….it hard to believe he is a flesh munching machine!! QUICK….get out the socks and gloves!!! Actually, I could loan ya my knee high pink socks…..they’d probably come in handy about right now. Have Fun!!!
Congratulations, Lee! He’s so cute and I love the name.
Best wishes, Lee. You will have fun!
He is sooo cute! I love these welcome home posts.
I hope you have a good pair of gloves. Hunting or riding gloves work best to protect your fingers! LOL
Congratulations Lee! You are going to have so much fun!
Oh Nooooo! I see he has a Mr. Bill toy – Ekko gets his annual Mr. Bill toy and loves to make him talk, but ends up chomping too hard on the “talking” innards in about, oh, two minutes, then wonders why he won’t talk anymore. It’s fun while it lasts.
Hi Lee,
It was great to meet you in person at Julie’s.
Brody is a super puppy. We loved him too. You will have a great time working and playing with him. I hope you post lots of pictures!
Thanks for giving Dylan some of your treats…he thought that was great !!
Hopefully we will see you and Brody at NASS in October and Aiden and Brody can play together.
Hey Lee,
Brody is beautiful, he’s a lucky boy to be with you. Looking forward to seeing you both soon.
Awww what a handsome boy!! That last picture couldn’t be any cuter.
I am *seriously* thinking about going to Nass in October just to meet you guys and see Ms. Julie again.
You know, in 2010 I flew out to Virginia to offer my support to Team Alta Tollhaus and ended up so hooked on the sport of Schutzhund, simply had to have another AT pup, hence, Zeta. Of course, unlike DeNiro (our companion AT GSD), we are training Zeta for her Sch titles! It is addictive! 🙂
Josie, do it! It will be great fun!!!!
YES…Josie!! Come to NASS. It would be great to meet you in person.
Hi Lee, I don’t think I have ever seen anyone happier to have their new puppy in their arms.
Lee, good for you- -finally a puppy. Love the last pic-it is amazing how they flatten out when they are so tired. I wish I could have met you when I picked up Ziva. I notice the new pup has clean new toys. The toes are the best however. Just ask my Ziva. Her big sis Libby was more of a finger girl.
Brody looks like a sweetheart! I can’t wait to see all your updates.
