Alta-Tollhaus Ulrich Maximus “Max” 8 months old, owned by Scott and Jackie was the Vice Sieger of the Nachwuch Klasse at the UScA sieger show in Indianapolis. Max held first place for sometime but finished in second place. We were thrilled as this was a class of 25 dogs of high-quality.

Max went into the ring untrained and left the ring trained, thanks to the skill of Walter Koetters.
Walter yelling at Jackie and “Heidi” aka Monica. When Walter first took Max into the ring, he asked me about the owners and I said they are “hiding.” He thought I said Heidi, which is how Monica became nicknamed Heidi.

This is how we celebrated Max’s big win:
A HUGE congratulations guys – that is fantasic!!!!!! We are so delighted for you. What a team!!! Isn’t Walter fabulous? He gets the best out of every dog he handles! I bet you’re hooked now!!
Andrea…thank you SO much for the pictures from the Chicago Schutzhund show! I’ll send you the correct mailing address as well as my email address as it was entered in the catalog incorrectly!
You’re welcome – so you got the CD OK even though it went to the wrong address??? They didn’t have much luck getting the book right did they…..??? Ooooo don’t get me started!! 🙂
I know…seems like Alta-Tollhaus wasn’t on their favorite side for that show! The pictures were great thank you! Are you and Matt going to the Wisconsin show in September?
No I doubt it. I do not have any vacation time left. We will be in IL for NASS though in October. I already have booked my vacation time for that one. Will you be there?
Oh yeah..we’re hoping to get Walter for that show too…Max will be 13 months so unfortunately he’ll be in the bigger class, I was hoping he’d still be 12 months so he’d be in the senior puppy class.
Congratulations! Max is such a great GSD! I hope he didn’t get sick after eating all that ice cream.
big congratulations! Max is a handsome devil.
I’d like to have been part of that celebration feast! yum!
VP2 from such a large class – VERY nice win! Congratulations!!
Biggest learning moment of the day from Walter…”This collar is shhhhit…he pulls hard”
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am of course thrilled with this result, he sure has his Daddy’s perfect ears!!! Great job everyone!!!! 🙂
Thank you Lorie, I forgot to say that Max is from the first litter Gavin sired. We received so many compliments about “Gavin’s puppy.”
LOL This just made my day! 🙂
Lorie…everything was, “Is this a Gavin puppy?” “Wow he is only 8 months…oh he’s a Gavin puppy…that’s why!”
I can’t believe how many people like Gavin, I swear he has a fan club, he’s an awesome dog and I’m thrilled to own him. 🙂
Gavin was entered but we didn’t bring him or Willa because some of our dogs had kennel cough and we didn’t want to spread it. Kind of ironic wouldn’t you say, considering the grief we had at the Canadian sieger show. Many people were asking about him. I think Goldlust would have liked him too. 🙁
LOL!
Congrats Jackie & Scott… you must be so very proud of Max.
He is one handsome dude…hehe… dog…
U-Rock sends a big paw “high 5” to brother Max.
WOW! VP2 out of a class of 25?!!! That is amazing. Yay for Max! Awesome job, Scott and Jackie. I am so proud of you guys, seeing what you’ve achieved with that sweet blue collar boy. He is just beyond gorgeous. His head is all Gavin.
Now I want some ice cream to celebrate!
He does act like Gavin…Max decided to wake Julie up on Saturday by lunging into her hotel bed and something her with kisses…and maybe a few chomps…he hadn’t eaten yet…
Well…. maybe Max was trying to get the cheese off of Julie’s hair? You know she hides them there right? LOL!
Big big BIG BIG Congrats to handsome Max, what a fantastic win, he seems like he knows it too!
Congrats to Lorie and Julie too!
Congratulations, that is a big win. He face looks like he knew he could do it all along.
AWESOME!!! Max is VERY handsome.
Congrats.
I love the “chillin in the shade” picture.
Well-Done!!! What a gorgeous boy he is…Congratulations to all! Good Boy, Max !
Way to go Max!!! He is such a cutie pie!
