Andrea took her girlfriend skydiving for her birthday!
Just a word of caution to anyone who might want Andrea to plan your birthday adventure!
Matt is smiling because he’s damn happy that it wasn’t HIS birthday! 🙂
Yesterday I received a text message: “You’ve inspired me to jump. I’m headed to DeLand.”
“Who is this??”
“Andrea!”
Andrea and crew were headed to Skydive DeLand for their rush of the day. I’m just glad she sent me the text because I would not have wanted to miss it. For any of you crazy people who have a desire to jump from a plane, Skydive DeLand is the best place to do it!
Andrea needs to meet my husband-he is a skydiver also. Matt & I can drink beer from the ground and smile.
Then Skydive DeLand is the place to do it! They have a great restaurant with a bar that has a wonderful variety of beer. Oh—save a stool for me. 🙂

No, Claudette is US born and raised. She and her family live in Dexter MI and spend the winter in Florida. They’ll be returning north in early June.
We had this visit planned for a couple of months unbeknown to Claudette, so not only was the Skydiving present a surprise, our entire visit was a huge surprise too!
