Best of luck with your new career! Sounds like a perfect fit. Are you going to work with K-9’s for the police departments, homeland security, or something in that line?

I will be training military dogs, and I’m pretty excited about it 🙂 I’ll get to see Fama when I go back to the kennels before she heads back to Afghanistan.

Fantastic, David! When you see Fama, give her a hug from us, and tell her how grateful we all are, and how much more secure we feel knowing that she and the other dogs are there supporting our troops. God bless them, and the men like you who train them for their critical support service. Thank you so much!
Thank you Beverly. We really love our jobs, and serving our country.

That’s awesome David! I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to be separated from Fama. I hope she finishes her duties in Afghanistan soon, safely, and your plans to adopt her work out quickly.

She probably has another few years of deployment ahead of her, but I will be here when she’s ready to come home.
I love how you each check in with each other. Are you leaving the military now or just done with active duty?
I think Fama was just asking him if it would be OK for her to eat the photographer.
I’m leaving the military to train dogs.

The thought of her retiring and coming home to you makes me cry tears of Joy!
