a.k.a., Shotzie / lime-green collar girl.
She is the sweetest thing — thank you, again, Julie.
She seems to be doing really well. Casey, the Golden, is her new best friend, Sophie, the Lab, hasn’t yet realized she’s here, and Kaline, the GSD, thinks she would make a good lunch. He is REALLY not happy about the new addition.
I have heard of children at 2-3 years of age regressing in their potty-training when a new baby comes home… but I’ve never heard of this in the dog world….. When Xhotzie and I came in from our 2:30 am potty break — Kaline had left me a big pile in the middle of the kitchen floor and he peed in the living room. Now, everything I have read says dogs aren’t spiteful in this regard…. but that was really hard to believe at 2:30 this morning. We’ve got some work to do with the boy…
Xhotzie is doing really well with her crate and the house breaking is going well so far. She is just a darling!
And I need practice on posting…..
I thought I’d posted pictures…. ugh….
Fixed the pictures for you Laura
Thanks Julie! Can you easily tell me what I’m doing wrong?
Trust me the dog world is SPITEFUL! We bring in a new puppy every year – you would think they would be used to it. NOPE! We have a spell of I will get even (you don’t get out of bed without a light on – or get in without checking to make sure it is dry) every year. Doesn’t last long, but what a pain. Good luck – it will get better!
She is so pretty! Kaline will come around, the big baby.
Congratulations on the newest addition to your pack. She is going to do great.
