Many illnesses have no outward face, no obvious visual disability but they are as disabling as any visible disability. They prevent the afflicted person from being productive and independent. For many a service dog makes the difference between a productive life and no life at all. A service dog not only provides freedom for their person but also to the family and caregivers of that person.
It pains me to learn that our military is making it harder and more complicated for military personnel to use service dogs on military bases. Please contact your legislators and support those who gave so much for us.
