Pan and Nikon both did SUPER on Tuesday. We had a large group so my dogs only took one turn each. Pan is always better after the week off. He was more focused on his job, less of a spazz, didn’t drop balls, didn’t try to play tug with other people’s toys. Look how fast he is compared to the Belgian in the other lane.
Nikon went last and there was no one left to run with so he started slow (he’s always faster with competition). After doing some of his normal runs where he is slow but shows a nice turn, Diane showed us a drill to get more speed. Someone else held his harness while I went forward and cheered him on. Then when he passes me, I cross the lane, call him when I hear him hit the box and race him back. Since he’s not as driven for the tennis ball itself, having me “race” him will build his drive.
They both look great! That looks like it’s so much fun for both you and them!
Looking good Lies! This is a great workout for both of you…I think I need to do flyball.
Both dogs look awesome. Pan is a speed demon and Nikon looks like he has perfect form.
WOW!!! Pan is fast!
You guys are getting better and better — I LOVE that you are showing people what GSDs can do in this sport.
PS. How the heck is Pan so fast?! Awesome!
They look great and what super boxturns for big dogs!
