Hey all! Sorry about not being better at getting pics of Vander posted… Between Brian traveling like a crazy person for work, me starting a new job and writing my Master’s thesis, trying to spend as much time with Vander as possible (while not neglecting my duties as a cat owner of Riley! :)), and still trying to enjoy a social life, it’s been rather difficult to find time to get anything up here. 🙂 But, Vander has been doing great! He’s a lovable pup, and he’s growing into such a handsome guy! 🙂 At last week’s vet visit, he weighed in at 32 pounds! He’s full of energy and he’s eager to learn, which has been fun! He’s definitely the talk of the neighborhood as well! Every time we go for a walk, he always manages to get a handful of compliments on what an adorable pup he is, and he’s got quite a fan base built up already! 🙂 We’re still working on him and Riley getting along (he sees Riley and wants to play, meanwhile Riley – who’s 12 – doesn’t quite agree! :)) and we’re waiting for his ears to go up… He’s got a funky look going on right now, with one ear half way up while the other one seems to lay on top of his head… But, to be honest, I love the floppy, crazy look of his ears right now, so I’m not in a huge hurry to get him out of this stage. 🙂 All in all, Vander’s doing great and he’s such a wonderful addition to our family! 🙂

WHhat a dol he is. THAT FACE you refer to..etch that into your memory so when he does something naughty, that’s the look he will want you to see. LOL I also love the last picture, too cute!

His sister Veri weighed in at 29.1 lbs on Monday. her ears are doing the same sort of thing you described. I’m seeing more silliness everyday in her behavior- I love it!
