W-litter (Gavin – Kira)  Pink collar girl and Green collar boy left yesterday on American Airlines.  Pink girl is being renamed Wicked, named by Charlene (owner of Veri from v-litter).  Green boy is still unnamed. Pink girl’s paperwork was processed first so Green boy had more time to tour the airport and serve as the unofficial American Airlines meet-and-greet puppy. He was such a charmer and everyone smiling and ooohing and aaawwing over him. Cellphone pictures, sorry about the quality.
Green collar busy kissing faces, does this remind you of someone, like maybe his Daddy?

Is that hard for you Julie? Or are you so used to sending puppies off it’s second nature now? I would think it’s bittersweet since you really do spend so much time with the puppies, unlike puppy mills.

It is hard and I do also get a twinge of sadness seeing them leave, but on the other hand I feel confident about the new homes they are going to and excited about their new life.

I goofed up when I posted this I sent the red-collar to Oregon and kept the pink collar. I LOVE that red collar girl but she was the best one to go to Judy. The pink collar girl is staying with me.

Dear Grey sweatshirt girl: red collar girl who I put a pink collar on and sent to Oregon is being called Wicked. She was the one I was calling “Wonderific.” Are you confused yet, because I am. Pink collar girl that I am keeping is nameless. I was going to call her Willa, but it doesn’t feel right. I want to give her a name that will be a spin on her mother’s name.

Wow, this W-litter has gone from coast to coast! It’s going to be so much fun to see all the pictures of them with their happy families. They are all soooo beautiful, but you know we always love our own the most. Scott and I are enthralled with our blue collar boy!

Congratulations on you sweet little pink collar girl, Julie! So is red collar girl now named Wicked?

Yes, red collar girl is now named Wicked! We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her and she is so smart! Julie said they hadn’t really experienced steps yet and Wicked follows me everywhere, so up and down the steps she went :~) At first she looked at me, and then the steps going down, took a little tentative step … I kept going (there were five steps on this set) and she looked at me going away and said “shoot, I better keep up, Mum’s leaving!!” and keep up, she did! She doesn’t stray far from my side and certainly keeps an eye on me.

I had a board and regular meeting for my golden club yesterday and it was a couple hours away, plus it was raining, and I didn’t get photos yesterday. Today the sky is clear and I will send photos of our girl.

It was late last night when I got home and we snuggled in my recliner for awhile – then off to her crate for a good night’s sleep. Today we are going shopping in town for some stuff and further socialization. I told Julie when I picked her up the airline people had her running all over their office and would have kept her in a New York minute! You couldn’t have wiped the smile off of my face with a stick of dynamite when I first held her in my arms.

More to follow – Julie, she’s perfect! BIG hugs to you, Mos, Kira, Gavin and, of course, Funny ~ j.

CONGRATULATIONS Judy!!!!!!! I just LOVE the name, Wicked, perfect….LOL, I have been looking at that red collar girl from the beginning and chuckling at how much she reminds me of somebody I know and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE:) Yup, its got to be something about being Kira’s daughters. Julie, do you remember that picture of Prada (aka Sydney) looking at her reflection in the garbage can…look at Wicked and the leaves. I am so in love with this whole litter…Carole can tell you, before it ever happened I was dreaming about a male someday from Kira/Gavin.

Sydney says she expects to see lots and lots of pictures of her little sister!!!

Yes, thank you, Barb! This is an amazing litter and I have looked forward to it for some time, as well :~) A lovely linebreeding on “our” Funny girl – it doesn’t get any better than this! I just sent some photos off to Julie, so I’m sure you will be seeing them before long. I will be a frequent contributor to this best Blog ever. Julie, you rock! Wicked is a doll, and “wicked” smart. BIG thanks to Charlene for the perfect name! It sounds as though our Wicked girl is following in some terrific paw prints ~ j.
