Roman and his BFF, Nina. She’s a 12lb miniature pinscher chihuahua mix. These 2 are inseparable. They play every morning when we meet up for a walk. It’s a riot. Roman is 105 lbs and he jumps and spins. She runs in circles and attacks him. They play with sticks and tease each other. They have actually stopped traffic because drivers have to stop and watch these two go at it. He’s so amazingly gentle with her. The other pics are Roman displaying is handsomeness. These were taken at a trick-or-treating event to raise money for a local rescue.

WHat a pair to draw to. Adorable. It’s funny when people see Shepherds playing or being gentle, hen they expect them to be eating people alive practically. Roman is a great ambassador for the breed. Thank you for sharing.

What a handsome guy he is! I wouldn’t have guessed he’s 105 – he looks nice and lean. Kira is the mother of my blue collar boy (“Wyatt West” – AKA Dutch), and Gavin is the father. I can’t believe little Dutch could even grow close to that size!
The temperament of AT dogs is amazing. We are very fortunate, with the great genetics of our dogs. Every time I see another wonderful AT dog like Roman and the others, I just thank my lucky stars that I have Dutch!

Roman keeps himself a lean mean shepherd machine by running with me, herding, practicing obedience, eating raw and basically never sitting down. He’s non-stop, but he’s the shiz.
I just have to ask, did he inherit the talkative gene from Gorbi? Sabree always has something to say and she is an Allie, Gorbi daughter. Julie told me once that they would give Gorbi things to carry just to keep him quiet. LOL Gotta love it.
Too funny! Roman is especially talkative first thing in the morning. The sounds he makes when he yawns and stretches are great! Every morning, I tell him “present the belly” and he rolls on his back for a belly rub!
