To take a group shot of 6 puppies that are 6.75 weeks old and you do not have an assistant (human assistant that is sorry Ana you don’t count in this exercise). You take a few shots to check the exposure and wait for that perfect moment when it all comes together. Very important…always remember,  when taking group shots with a flash….

have fresh batteries in your flash….

so cute— but no flash—-  low light = high-ISO = grainy pictures.   BIG  SIGH

Notice how that Purple-collar boy is always ready for his picture to be taken.  Blue-collar boy is a close second.

The puppy order from L – R: Green, Pink, Lime-green, Purple, Red, Blue

Adorable, as usual, Julie! Thanks for the photography help. I just ordered my D7000, so I’ll be ready to capture those precious moments with our precious little boy blue. I hope you’ll be able to take some departing shots at the airport again so we can see our little ones on their way! We are just counting down the hours!

Oh boy. NOW is the time for resting and sleeping? I didn’t get that memo. I’m working the next few nights…

Thank you for the pictures, Julie. I sent them all to my daughter Nicole. She had a very close bond with our last German Shepherd and is hoping for the same with Walter Oso. Do you see how he has his head cocked, so cute.

You are so right, Lisa! Just like with our babies, I’ll be the one up at night, taking him out, sneaking him into bed, etc. Thankfully Kira took care of the breast feeding! His nap time may become my nap time, too. If Monica can raise Verdae and Swagger, two puppies just a week apart, I should be able to handle one little fireball.
