Thanks, now that he’s finally got it we can add the speed. He was having so much trouble catching the ball when loaded. We train and proof the turn by setting the ball on the ledge on the box and at home his push board just as a ball stuck to velcro, but as soon as we loaded it he fumbled every time. This week he was catching it, no difference in training, just decided to catch it. Now we can work on his steps so the whole sequence is faster and more efficient. He sometimes slides or stutter steps into his turn, and he jumps too high over the jumps (he kind of pops like a deer). Ideally the topline never changes even over the jumps. Tomorrow we’re getting our own box so we can practice better at home! It’s been so mild here (only a few inches of snow TOTAL, 54 degrees yesterday!) I can probably make a whole lane outside. Both dogs got invited to enter a tournament next month but we’re sitting it out for now.
Absolutely super Lies! Sounds like he had to work it out in his brain about catching the ball and once he did no problem. This looks like so much fun, but I think I would have to wear ear plugs.
Yeah, the noise level is migraine inducing at times. I let Nikon bark all he wants here, lastely he’s been wanting to bark during formal obedience so this is his outlet, but the small dogs yelp and screech. Still not quite as bad as terrier races though!
That was great Lies!!!

LOL!!! Have you guys ever been to a Go to Ground earth dog trial?? I take my terriers and take Excedrin before we even get there! It is INSANE!!!!!
This is great! Nikon looks like he’s having a lot of fun.
Gotta love that Fly Ball bark and hold.
His real hold and bark has improved since he started flyball! I think it’s increasing his stamina for barking, lol.
