Oh the humiliation of it, here are the obligatory “how big is she” photos. Kira (U-CH V Quellie vom Kirschanetal SChH3 KKL1a LBZ, CD, U-RO1) is due on the 20th with a litter sired by Lorie’s Gavin (U-CH V Alta-Tollhaus Gavin SchH3 KKL1a ) . This is the second litter Gavin has sired.
How low can she go? That belly is almost touching the ground:

Monica was over last night and she helped me get some pictures of the V pups. I will put them up later today.

LOL Josie! Gavin does have super sperm we looked at a sample under the microscope. There were millions of spermatozoa with big round teddy-bear heads!
I love Kira and want a pup of hers so bad, but it is too soon. Libby will not even be 1 when these little ones are ready to go. Maybe the next litter :)!!
Kira is a really cool dog. sometimes I think she is smarter then me.

Oh My God!! Is she supplying the state of Michigan with puppies? I have to say all these precious puppy pictures are starting a real deep case of puppy fever in me, especially when so many of them are by Gavin!!! I’m getting very restless!!!

Seriously, these pictures do not show how big she is….and she is even bigger today then she was a few days ago when we took these pictures.
Have you xrayed her? It will be interesting to see how many she has. It doesn’t seem to be slowing her down much. LOL She is an awesome girl, and these puppies will be gorgeous I am sure.
NO xray…you know the cobblers kids have no shoes…
Mos said it would be better to xray after she has some pups. She is so big it will be hard to get a good count anyway. As she nears the end we can xray and see how many are yet to be born.

My 4 year old daughter, Lily, says she thinks there are 18 puppies in Kira’s big tummy. We can’t wait to see pictures of new puppies!!

Lily woke up this morning and immediately wanted to look at the pictures of Kira again. She wanted to know if the puppies were born yet! She also wants to revise her previous estimate of how many puppies Kira will have – Now she says 20! Oy.

NO nothing yet….Mos ( my husband ) made me go check the breeding records, and I was off a few days, the real due date is the 23rd. We will see if she makes it that long, the poor girl is so miserable.
