I used to look at Kapone’s photos all the time- because I was so sure Odin would look like him when he’s full grown, they have the exact same white patch on the chest.
Kapone is so handsome. 🙂
Kapone’s class is one that you needed to see in person it was so competitive and thrilling to watch. Kapone was called out in 2nd place. The first place dog and the Kapone both fell back in their placements and Kapone and Tim worked their way back up to 2nd place. Tim and Kapone worked really hard to regain their spot, it was uber exciting to watch. It was like Kapone knew that he lost his spot and he wanted it back. There was a whole lot of screaming, yelling, and running. Last year Al had been in prime shape and was running the entire ring. This year he had a bum knee and couldn’t run. All the Alta-tolhaus team was helping out, especially Crystal, who is a working dog person and went to her first show ever just a few months ago. Al you worked it and the results are awesome! The dog that had originally called out in first place ended up in third place right behind Kapone. He is a dog from Germany that had many wins over in Germany. Many nice dogs in this class. Congratulations to all!!!
The first and last picture shows the dogs coming into the ring in catalog order. The second picture is Kapone with another XBox son right behind him. The 3rd picture shows the first call-out order.

You are right Julie. That was a very emotional time for everyone. It was absolutely heartbreaking to see Kapone drop back they way he did, but he fought back tooth and nail to come in second.

So exciting! What a beautiful dog and stellar comeback! I wish I could have been there, but these pictures help make up for it. Love Tim’s expression in the first picture, and Kapone’s visible gentleness with his little fireman.
Great job, Kapone, Al and Karen, and the A-T team that came together at a clutch moment! You know, sometimes it takes a village to win an SG2.
Love the picture of the “little fireman” and his big, brave GSD firedog!
That is a great photo of David & Kapone!

What a great job and an awesome outcome!! Kapone looks great, and so glad you put the fireman shot in there, it just makes you smile:) Congrats !
Kpone looks like his job of protecting the fireman is taken very seriously. Great photo for the family wall.
