He has outsmarted me his entire life. The most recent example was a certification track. It started with a very long first leg (about 100 yards) which led into a left turn, another left turn, then a right diagonal, then a right turn going to the glove. Mac went halfway down the first leg, made a left, and went to the glove. Another time he went out to the first corner and then did a diagonal because he knew where the tracklayer left the field. And every time he asks: “Why do you dummy humans mess around with all that intermediate stuff when it is perfectly CLEAR that the glove is right over there?”
