Funny (Faye von Kirschental) wins the Veterans Class! The judge praised her extensively for her condition and her quality. When they announced her age you could hear from the crowd how amazed they were that she was 11 years old.
Sade, Zeta, Samson all received nice placements (s Litter XBox – Allie) all earned good placements and from the same litter, first time shown, Huck took 2nd place! Ivan’s (I-litter Ricco x Allie) placed in the top ten. Ivan looked super and was in impeccable condition.
Kapone was in a really tough class with some very nice dogs and was called out 2nd and ended up 2nd place beating a dog from Germany with many wins over there.
Tim has done a fabulous job handling for us!
Gavin did his bitework and did a great job. Thank you to Peter and Pat for helping me practice and prep. Today is the progeny groups, kennel groups, and working classes.
What a great weekend! Congratulations to all of you, including Tim the Super-Handler!! Wish we could have been there to applaud.
Congratulations! !!! KODA is very proud of his litter mates! Way to go Funny girl, you are one super special grandma, the photo with all the grandkids made me smile, so cool!
Goodjob Tim!
OUTSTANDING!!! Funny Rocks…You go Grandma, way to show all the kids how it is done…steak when you get home:)
You ALL did such a wonderful job…Julie, you must be so incredibly proud, and deserve every single smile and goosebump:) I know how proud I am just to be part of this A-T family. I certainly wish I could have been there….GOOD JOB, and CONGRATULATIONS to ALL!!!
WOW! We all know Funny is the Grand Dam. So happy for you. What a great recognition. Nice work on all the entered dogs.
Betsy and Mister Tanner (way to go Mom)
Now I know where Singer gets it from. Hope we can continue this and that Singer can make his mom as proud as you are of her.
This was a great weekend for the A-T family. We had an awesome time. It was great meeting up with the other AT family and meeting the new AT family. All the AT dogs did us proud!
I need to thank everyone on our team for Kapone placing so well! I don’t think that there was another team with as many helpers as we had for Kapone, it was a total joint effort by all of you!
Tim was a huge asset to the AT family! He knows and did his job very well!
Everyone that helped with the handling of Gavin did a great job also!
Crystal did an out standing job with the off lead with Gavin, they looked like this was something they do on a daily basis!
Her cr
We were so proud of Funny, she is a very special grandma, who does NOT act her age!!! As Julie mentioned the crowd couldn’t believe when they said her age!
Julie, your breeding program is nothing short of spectacular And your a great leader and example to follow! THanks again!
Thank you Karen for your words of support. We might be small breeders but at least we are competing and holding our own against the the giants.
I too would like to thank everyone for taking such good care of Gavin, I heard he looked great from several people and I will be forever grateful to you all, Julie does in deed breed the most incredible dogs , dogs that are blessed with beauty and character that is as evident inside as out, I am so proud to be associated with a kennel so full of awesome dogs and absolutely wonderful people, someday I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you!! Great job everyone!!
Thank you Lorie for letting Gavin come and play with us!
Lorie, Gavin held his own in a league with much more experienced and older dogs. I’ve said from the very beginning to trust Julie—she will do what is right for your dog. It takes a team to manage a working dog. Julie did an excellent job handling Gavin in his bitework. Crystal looked like a pro in the off lead work and Tim superbly presented Gavin in the ring. Props to all!
Agree Carole, what is the saying, It takes a Village to raise a child? Gavin is in great hands, of that I have no doubts, there is absolutely no other way I could live without him by my side, or hogging my bed. 🙂
Funny can be summed up in a few words: She was FABULOUS!
It is rare to see a 7-year old dog look so good, yet alone one who is 11 years young!
I just found out that although the judge gave Funny first place there will be no “official” placements for the veterans classes.
That may be true, but I saw the look on Albie’s face when he heard that Funny was 11 and then again when he heard that she is a Herding Siegerin. You could tell that he was quite impressed with your girl. He gave excellent comments about her great condition and overall appearance.
Being the photog has its benefits. You can hear many of the judge’s comments. 🙂
That’s just retarded.
She’s #1 in our book. Without her none of this would be possible.
