The 3 – 6 month Baby Puppy class represents a wide variety of puppy stages a puppy nearly 6 months is much different then the puppy closer to 3 months. Alta-Tollhaus Tanner (T-litter) was the second youngest in his 3 – 6 month baby puppy class and placed 3rd! This was the first show for both him and his owners. In the photo below you can see the difference in ages, Tanner is to the far right with handler Walter Koetters and if the first place dog looks familiar that is Irene with Alta-Tollhaus Samson. This show was the Canadian Sieger show held in Niagara Falls Ontario, judged by SV judge Margit van Dorsen, Germany.

Tanner is getting some loving from Julia and Luke after the show.
Very nice job everyone!! This picture really does illustrate the differences, but when you see them every day you don’t notice as much till they are together like this!
Congratulations to Tanner! Winning 3rd place at a national show like this- with much older puppies in the class is amazing. Great job – He looks wonderful.
And Samson looks beautiful – congratulations on a first place!
Where should I begin? First off, congratulation Irene for such a nice win with Samson. Second—way to go Mr. Tanner! It is not easy being on the very young end of the scale and holding your own with the big boys. Props to Tanner and his peeps, including Walter!!
Thanks everyone, and thank you Julie for the beautiful pictures! I’ve got to share a Tanner story with you all. This morning we were playing ‘hide and seek,’ something he loves to do when he’s revved up in the morning. I ducked behind the sofa trying to anticipate which direction he would come from, listening for any clues. Imagine my surprise when he came over my head! I don’t think he’s going to have trouble with Gustavo’s walls once we get to that point! 🙂
Tanner was awesome! He took everything in his stride!
Congratulations Samson and Tanner!!!
Samson coming in First was just the icing on the cake!
