It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that, due to a medical condition that has reappeared, I will be unable to train Koda as I had planned. I could keep him as a pet, but he deserves to be worked, and so I have decided to place him with Josie in Texas. I know that he could not have landed in a better place. Josie, I hope he fills the void left by Odin’s passing, and I wish all of you the best.
P.S. Julie, thanks for all the help- you’ve been great.
Alan
Life can be a strange journey with all sorts of twists and turns. May God bless you and help you with whatever your needs may be. What a generous heart to help Josie fill the empty place in her heart and home.
Dear Alan,
I am in tears, I am heartbroken for you. I am honored to raise him and he will have a loving and caring family to take care of him.
Odin’s passing has been really painful, my son still looks for him. Koda couldn’t be more perfect addition to our family.
I will keep you updated on his progress.
Josie
Alan, I am sorry to hear this news, but wanted to commend you on your kind heart. I know that Koda will have a fantastic home with Josie and her family.
God Bless you Alan, I will pray for your health, and it shows how much you loved Koda to make the ultimate sacrifice, Josie will give him a wonderful life.
God bless you, Alan. This brings me to tears—that you are unable to continue on your journey with Koda and happy tears that he is going to Josie. I pray for your health. You will always be a part of this family.
Alan, I will pray for your health, and hope that being able to experience Koda’s adventures with Josie’s family will bring you much joy. What generous and unselfish love you have given, God Bless .
It takes an amazingly strong heart to put the dog first. Koda is really blessed to have you and Josie so willing to love and care for him.
Prayers for your health and hopefully you will stay in touch. Once family, always family.
Perfectly said. I have started writing in response to this so many times and I just couldn’t find the words.
Alan, we are so sorry to hear that you have to part with Koda. It will hurt less knowing that he is going to such a wonderful home and you will be able to watch him grow through Josie’s pictures on the blog.
Take care.
so sorry for you alan that you have to give him up due to health issues but how wonderful that it is Josie you are giving him to. I hope this will help heal the hearts of those that lost their wonderful companion Odin at such a young age
Irene, above, has expressed perfectly what we also feel. Our very best to you and your family, Alan.
Thanks to you all for the kind comments and thoughts. I appreciate it a lot.
Like Julie, I could not find the right words and Irene does express it best and you are still part of the family. Best wishes and please stay in touch.
