You should be, the only issue I see is that Zucca has not had a litter in many years. The two of them are like sex-crazed teenagers and all they want to do is “hook-up.”
Just haven’t bred her; she only cycles every 9 months and have always had other litters on the way or on the ground so she got skipped. Now she is getting older and I realized I want to keep something out of her.
I can’t wait to see Gavins puppies, sure hope Zucca takes, I hope Gavin passes on his gorgeous head and awesome temperament, man I miss that boy, I miss him carrying the fire wood all over the yard!!
I had a few moments of panic when Mos and Tiffany took matters into their own hands…literally and without my permission did an A.I. That means they collected from Gavin and then inserted the collected seminal fluid into Zucca. Some dogs that learn this way get lazy and don’t want to breed naturally. Since they had not yet had a natural breeding I was not happy. However, it worked out OK. I believe that being collected relaxed Gavin and also made him more comfortable with a person being near and touching his equipment. As he allowed me to help him get in better position.
The other good thing about being collected is allowed for Mos to check semen and examine the sperm. He has off-the-chart sperm count. He is going to be an excellent stud dog.
Bad Mos & Tiffany. I can hear you now! However, everything ended on a good note.
It is also good to know that his sperm count is off the chart!

Thats my boy! The next great stud! I remember the first time I bred my young Saddlebred stallion he actually fainted and hit the floor like a ton of bricks, I thought he had a heart attack!!!! ๐
Oh My God!!! I might be a Grandma!!! ๐

How come Zucca has been barren for so long?

You go Gavin… so did Gavin have to wine and dine Ms. Zucca? Or is it love at first sight between the two?? ๐ ๐
Cougar Zucca- ha ha I love it!!
Good job to those involved. Lorie, were you ready to be a Grandma?!!
@Carole
Uh, No, on the other hand can I stop dying my hair?
NO
Good advice, Julie. My sister did that—became a grandma and stopped dying her hair. She became VERY OLD!! What’s up with that?!
No. You son will need a hip grandma to keep up with his youngsters!
