Okay so this is the muddiest Odin can get. I was digging a place to put the potty thingy.
ninja puppy
whaaaa?? can't hear you mom!
I was wondering why it got so quiet... he often sits like this
this is why the cat hates him, he has squashed the cat's bed!
mom, please go away, I'm trying to sleep
he tried to bury his egg??????? wow — he is totally Grizzly’s brother. Will Odin ever go in the pool? Grizzly will lay down on the first step and paw at the second step, thats about it….
@John and Michelle
He used to do the same thing, we used to pull him into the pool until he was confident enough that it won’t swallow him alive. We pulled him (forced him) 🙂 for a good month, now he just jumps in, he’ll be there all day long if we let him.
I love the picture of him sitting on the step! Josie, I think he fits in the cat’s bed just fine. 🙂
Odin is so handsome.
Every s i n g l e night, I’d hear a yelp from Odin, it’s Rascal slapping him in the face for being in his bed Again. Dh said Odin is missing a brain cell or two, he never learns..lol!
Your dog has the same fun-crazy sense-of humor that you have! Great pictures, very fun!
Great photos…I love the second shot…but Mom, now EVERYBODY is going to know where I put it!!!! He is such a handsome boy!
Thank you guys! Odin has the most expressive eyes, my favorite part of him. I took a ton of photos of just his eyes, nose and feet… hey I was bored this weekend. His eyes are the hardest to capture, can’t get my camera/flash setting just right to capture the color.
A potty thingy???? How do you keep him from chewing the skirt flaps on your couch? This is a recent fascination for Libby. She could spend less time crated in the living room and more just hanging out in the living room if she would leave those alone. Oh well, in time they should lose their appeal (hopefully when the teeth are done falling out).
I’ve that doggie dooley- I think that’s what it’s called for 12 years unopened- we were supposed to use it with Zeus but always forgot about it. It’s were you put all the poop, like a trash can, it will decompose and no smell.
DH asked me the other night if I could train Odin to open it and poop in the hole? Wouldn’t that be amazing??!! Ha ha.. he can’t even learn to leave the cat alone!
That is actually our bed skirt that I made- yes, his head is under our bed. He is just a funny creature I tell ya. He doesn’t mess with it, thankfully. My only real issue with Odin is digging in the yard. Oh puppyhood.
Maybe he needs a sandbox digging pit.
Lisa, umbilical cord Libby to you. It would be less crate time and she cannot get into things if she is attached to you. It is also a good way for her to learn your body language.
Thanks for the tip. I do tie her to me frequently, but she will lay down and still creep over to the chair to chew the skirt. I redirect several times before I crate. Any other ideas?
Bully stick?
The pictures are great. ..especially the pool one.
GSD’s do seem to like to sleep with their heads under the bed!
