Gavin has completed his schutzhund 3 title!!!
Gavin turned two years of age on June 2nd, and earned his schH 3 on June 4th.
His scores were: 92 / 84 / 89 (Tracking / Obedience / Protection). We all are so proud of the Gavin boy, he is a very special dog. Gavin is owned by Lorie Armendariz, California and we know that Momma Lorie is bursting with delight. When Gustavo tested him and said he is mentally ready to go, he wasn’t kidding!
All that is left for Gavin’s German titles is his V show rating. After that maybe even a VA rating….we all know he is handsome enough. 🙂 Gavin will come back to the USA within the next month. He will play around in Michigan for a short while. Zucca has volunteered to be the experienced older woman in his life…if you know what I mean. He will also be re-xrayed for his 2-year old OFA radiographs. He will also go play in UKC earn his Grand-Championship and finish up that weight-pulling title. Then he goes back to the mountains of California and his Momma Lorie.
Big hug to you Lorie! We are doing the happy dance here in Michigan.
yay!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go Gavin!!!
Zucca- you be gentle with him. 😉
🙂 🙂 🙂
LOL I will pass that on to Zucca, but I do not think we have to worry, she will teach him well.
GIGANTIC HUG to Lorie for having the faith and confidence in Julie to send her boy to Germany. I am very happy for you and Mr. Gavin. Thank you for all that you’ve done. I have been one of Gavin’s biggest fans since he was just a little monster ripping my pants. Congratulations, Gavin. You have done your momma proud. However, you know that I’ll be waiting for you to get that VA title—you deserve it.
Carol, I owe you for encouraging me to send Gavin to Germany, even when my heart was saying I need to have my bed warmer with me, you kept telling me he had to go, I’m so glad I listened and am happy for Julie, she should be every bit as proud as me, and the really neat thing is as some of you know, my Mother is fighting terminal cancer, it’s the reason I actually let Gavin go, but my mother is the person who gave me my love of German Shepherds, she held Gavin as a wee pup on the way home from the airport, she helped me double handle him at all his shows, she was with me when we took him to meet Julie at the airport to go back with her, in other words, she is all in in Gavin, this news yesterday made a very hard Chemo day happy, this morning she was feeling great and still talking about it with pride and joy, I am so blessed to have and share a dog of this quality and characher with her, I thank you Julie for that. 🙂
Lorie, I always keep good thoughts for you and your Mum.
He is very handsome.
Bursting with pride is an understatement, the phones have been ringing and texting all over the country, I am so proud I can’t stop smiling, I feel so blessed to have a dog like Gavin, I still pinch myself!
Congratulations Gavin!!! What a good boy.
Maybe Gavin can stay in Michigan and then come to NASS with Julie before heading home to CA…..?? Can you mangae without Gavin a little longer Lorie so we can all get to see him compete at NASS? I don’t blame you if you want him back sooner!
:0 I will get together and talk with Julie about it, maybe I can come out and watch him and than bring him home with me, if Julie let’s me! Lol!! I will take it a step at a time, my Mother is hopefully going to have surgery in July, God willing everything is good than I can maybe sneak away for a few days, I must say having Julie take care of him makes it so much easier, I wouldn’t be able to leave him so long otherwise. 🙂
Good job, Lynda!
