Julie, she is coming along great. She and her big sister have become friends. They go sniffing together in the back yard in the a.m. to check out what night time visitors may have visited. She is a real social butterfly w/everyone she meets. Really loves Mr. UPS man (& the bisquits he gives her )who is a frequent visitor & he is pleased we are taking the time now to get him aquainted w/her for when she is bigger. She is appropriate w/the cat about 50% of the time now. 2nd shots soon and we can really get out there in the world.
OMG Ann, This made me LOL. Although I am sure I wouldn’t be, if it was my dog..
Go up and knock on your neighbors door with garden tools and pup and say your new garden crew is here.
Oh and maybe it would help if garden crew brought a peace offering…possibly from the neighbor on the other side of you!

Definitely looks like she has made herself right at home. Love those ears.
Does Sade chew up her blankets also? I tried to give her something to sleep on in her crate at night and woke up t a game of lets tear up our cushion-of course she has (quiet)chew toys, but the cushion must have been more fun. Fortunately the fringe on the rugs have lost their intense draw of the 1st week!
it’s genetic…I use to have very lovely and expensive dog beds all through the house…then one day a dog named Funny moved in…no more dog beds.

I guess this is a “regional” thing, but belly rubs from this position usually include the comment, “Put the alligator to sleep.” John, you should try it!
The second pic is hilarious! It looks like the left ear is poking the right one. LOL! She’s getting so big!

Lovely photographs Lisa. Zeta gets her second shots on Friday too. I am looking forward to letting her venture further than the yard. So far we have taken her camping but she wasn’t allowed to wander too far plus we’ve taken her to visit various family members, but that’s about it as Matt is really nervous about her picking something up before she gets her shots. Then the following Wedensday we are off to our first Schutzhund class!

I just want to reach out and rub that belly!
What I have observed with the cats and the dogs, is the cats are really in control of the situation, and they do enjoy pushing the dogs buttons.
We have found that belly rubs soothe the “shark”. She weighs 20.2 lbs and is growing like a weed.
What a doll Lisa, she looks perfectly relaxed and content!
She is a great lawn helper also. I had forgotten that when a GSD helps you rake it takes 3x as long and you get extra tooth marks on the handle.
Soon she can copy her brother Raj, who has just decided that he should pick up potted plants out of other people’s gardens and carry them home.
