So we decided to visit another club, another member took a video. This was our 3rd run for the night, I thought Odin would be have been exhausted, but he’s got plenty of juice still! After I put Odin back in the truck, the trainer told me “you know I have to be honest with you, I don’t have much hope for show-lines, but this little guy has “it”, he is awesome”. I am one proud Mama! Every single member there commented “what a good-lookin boy” he is.
I have to disagree with your caption on the last picture, he doesn’t look bored to me, he looks like he is taking everything in. The video is great, he is doing super! I am glad you found a group you are comfortable with! He is a good looking boy, I love how dark he is.
But of course he’s awesome!! He is an Alta-Tollhaus pup, after all 😉
I think he surprised a lot of them, you can be beautiful and work too! 😉
The trainer also said that Odin has good full bite, he wants him back there on Tues if he doesn’t start teething this weekend. We will work on obedience in the meantime. I wished we had a video of his first and second run, he was a wild one!
Great job! Odin, is very handsome. Little do they know that these show dogs are doing great work in Schutzund. They will figure it out soon enough.
So handsome. I love his dark coloring too. He looks like he enjoyed himself!
Odin looks terrific! I love his dark color. I really like how when he is not doing anything, he is very focused on the action—that is great!
Good shot of Odin and his handler.
Odin looks great! I love the pic with his handler and his proud-happy prance in the video:) He’s getting so big, what a handsome boy:)
Thank you! He did fantastic last night again! The only thing that we need to do is teach him to bark-
Also, the trainer told me to start him tracking, showed me how to do it etc. Julie, you would have laugh so hard, apparently my facial expression was hysterical since they were laughing at me.
He told me Odin is going to have to work for his food- that I needed to bury his food. I just spent a long time trying to get Odin to stop digging and burying his chicken, and now I have to bury his food? He wants my 4 month old to work for food???!!
Maybe we will do psa and then schutzhund. 😀
I don’t know about burying the food. Does not sound like a good idea…working for his food yes…but digging for it….no.
That’s what I thought. I will have to read up on tracking.
What is psa? He really looked proud of himself when he got the “squirrel”.
He is working for his food and the end reward by checking the footprints as he learns to track.
I agree with Julie, doesn’t sound like a good idea to me, next thing you know he will be digging himself out under the fence or something!
@Carole
Carole, I think it is time you started doing video instead of those easy still shots LOLOLOL!
