Well, why not, I thought. I entered the AKC Siberian Husky Club of Greater Detroit agility trial this weekend in Dexter, Michigan. I have only entered one AKC trial prior to this weekend and I entered this weekend needing one jumpers leg to finish Nina’s NAJ title. Not thinking much about it, I just entered to have fun! Well, I did finish Nina’s NAJ title on Saturday and also got a NA leg. Sunday came so I moved Nina up to Open Jumpers and Q’d!! Nina just got an OAJ leg!! WOOHOO! She also got another NA leg in Sunday. Oh, Nina. You never cease to amaze me! Now, on to USDAA, the “fast dog” venue..
Also, my “puppy” is a year old today!! Happy Birthday little Adrenalynn, you have taken me on a ride I will never forget. Honestly, I had no idea how I would be able to handle a border collie on tight, technicality agility courses. Lynn, you have taught me so much about flyball and herding, you are truly amazing! I can’t wait to start some “big dog” stuff with my Lynners!

Yes Monica, it is an AKC trial.
Once Dylan got his MX I moved him into Preferred as he is now 6 years old and such a short/stocky type of Labrador Retriever jumping 16 inches is better for him. He is in Open pref FAST and Ex A Std and JWW pref. I’ll let you know how it goes. We have not done any agility since his last trial in November!
Did you have a bday party for Lynn?? I’m sure she would look great w/a bday hat and enjoy a bday livercake w/her pack. Congratulations on your weekend success.
She got an ice cream cone when were were coming home from the trial because Nina had to get her QQ ice cream. I will get a picture today with a birthday hat on. 😉
