My name is Alta-Tollhaus Gavin…G A V I N….simple but they keep adding more letters to my name.
They added an AD, then a BH, and now a schH1.
My scores for my schutzhund 1 were:
Tracking – 88, Obedience – 86, Protection – 91
WAIT! There is MORE…. also I now have a Körung thing which is KKL
…and the judge said I am a 1 and I should be breed, I don’t know how to do that but like anything you ask of me I am ready to give it a try.

Thank you very much everyone, needless to say I am EXTREMELY proud of Gavin, I have to admit he has been a dream come true, I have owned German Shepherds for over 30 years, but Gavin was my first foray into a real top notch show quality dog, I can still remember seeing his puppy picture on this site almost 2 years ago and falling head over heels in love and hoping he could be mine, obviously things went very well for me 🙂 I have bred and raised 3 horse Champions and have to say, this is every bit as gratifying !!!!!! I also would like to thank Julie on her unbelievable support of me in some very trying times, Julie without you this could never have happened, I an so grateful to you, and to you too Carol, who gave me several gentle nudges to make it happen, you were right! I so miss Gavin, he was my constant companion, from sleeping on my bed, riding along the trails, and running our endless errands, it has been very lonely without his big goofy face, but it has been so worth, and I have never been more proud to own such a fantastic dog, he exuded class and quality from the first day we met. 🙂
