I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed teaching a class as much as this one. It is great having such dedicated owners who actually work and have fun with their dogs! The transformation in the pups is amazing. Julie, both of these kids have gotten some extra rear over the past week.
Deb and Babe, our little GSD black Golden Doodle, left before photos today. We won’t let them slip off again! Babe is doing great and holds his own with the GSDs.
Someone is catching up in size! Cute, cute, cute!
Very nice. Carole, that must be my problem, I got a little extra rear lately! lol
Carole,
Thank goodness you mowed the weeds. Now we can see the pups!
Thank you for noticing! Now the field actually looks green.
If someone told me I had developed extra rear, I would be offended. This must be a good thing for the dogs however-what does it mean?
Lisa, I was referring to rear angulation—not a big butt. Linda Shaw has a very good website for the Illustration of the GSD. I have her permission to include her link on my site, so I’m sure she won’t mind if I add a portion of it here. In this section, Linda explains the rear.

Karen, you have extra rear angulation? How’s that working for you? 😉 Speaking of angulation—where the heck are photos of K-Pony?
