Has anyone noticed I have been gone? Well if you have tried to call me you aren’t going to get an answer, at least not for a few more days.
Yesterday I was in a place where most of the men are effeminate and wore scarves. Just observing I have learned a half dozen new ways to tie a scarf.
Today I am someplace were the men wear designer glasses…interesting how all my observations are of men??? I overheard conversations at dinner that included talk of Facebook and “check-point Charlie.” I horrified some people by crossing the street with out the walking-green person. The land were you-must-obey-the-rules and their favorite expression to say to Americans is “this is not possible!”
Where am I today?
Jack says you are in Berlin…?
Is there still a marker for Check-Point Charlie? Or is it like the Wall, hard to tell where it was?
Maybe we should send you back to that famous land where little-green-person Walk signs have not yet arrived.
Berlin
Picking up Bailey?
Ha,ha,ha! The people of the foreign land do not know you very well—-“You must obey!” To that I say, “This is not possible!” Have fun, Julie.
LOL Carole, you hit the nail on the head!!!!! just show them what you CAN do!
I have only been to Berlin once but if I remember correctly, at the site of Checkpoint Charlie there was a photograph. One side showed an American Soldierand the other a Soviet Soldier. Is it still there?
Hey has anyone noticed she hasn’t answered? Maybe she really was lost and needed our help to find her way!
Next training date are we going to have scarf tying 101?
Yes…I check everyday to see if Julie has answered…. Where is Waldo???
Can you send your tracking dogs to find Julie?
I’m sure we’ll all be hearing from Waldo shortly—unless they’ve kept her at the checkpoint! 😉 Nah—that is not possible! She will NOT obey their rules!!!
HAHAHA! So true.
The first place was Paris. The second was Hamburg, but you would have never have gotten that with the red-herring I threw in, but that was the conversation i over heard in a Greek restaurant in Hamburg. I did make a visit to Berlin on this trip also.
Lisa was correct the trip was to bring Bailey back home.
