Lily is now 8 months old. She is a big girl now…she no longer requires her crate during the day when we are gone. I am very proud of the fact that I can leave her and come home without any potty on the floor, or damage to the dining room furniture. However! I had a corporate meeting I had to attend in Orlando Florida the last couple of days and felt comfortable leaving Lily and daddy alone.
BIG MISTAKE!!! I came home last night to find ALL the weeks mail chewed to bits! Daddy left it all on the dining room table.
Daddy did not take the mail and put it in the office before he left the house to go to work. LILY LOVES MAIL! (Stamps are her favorite treats). I found out she espicially loves mail when it includes a NETFLIX CD (how in the world could she have twisted and turned it the way she did I’ll never know). It was a foreign film and I guess this is just her way of telling me she doesn’t like “subtitles” anymore.
Oh and Lily does not believe in filing income tax either. My W2 was torn to bits!
On the other had…something came from my DENTAL insurance company requiring more information about a crown I need to have fixed….trouble is, Lily’s teeth marks are not the answer they were looking for.
Daddy told me the kitchen looked like a snowstorm hit us!
When I asked him his reaction to this mess when he came home he said he was in so much shock and awe, all he could do was laugh.
I, on the other hand reprimanded Daddy for his forgetfulness of having an 8 month old on the loose!
BAD DADDY! BAD BAD DADDY!
Pam Lemire & Lily
oh no! I’m sorry, all I could do is laugh as well.. ha ha
Did daddy take pics of their wonderful mess?
Does dad has to sleep in Lilly’s old crate now?! 🙂
Oh Pam—this is so funny! Kayla says that her little girl wouldn’t dream of doing something like this. Do you have a cat to blame? 😉 Poor Art—you’re in the dog house now!
That’s hilarious! Nikon ate some W-2s a few years ago too. Luckily he left one intact so we could e-file.
Oh thank you for posting this because it made me thankful that my mess wasn’t quite that bad when I came home tonight!
It’s the small things in life to be thankful for! LOL
Well you know…Big Daddy could have cried or he could have laughed…laughing is always better. I think that Lilly was staging a tax protest. Go Lilly!
@Julie
She might have thought:
“Welfare State” on my parent’s tab??
NO WAY!!! 🙂
Well Bad Daddy has redeemed himself. Seems Lily was not feeling well last night and I slept through her whining to want to go outside. Bad Daddy heard her and let her out…THANK GOODNESS! All that mail caused a bunch of diarrhea!
I personally think it was the W2 form. “Poopy Pay/Poopy taxes” will take it right out of you!
But Bad Daddy is now out of the dog house and Lily and I think we will keep him around for a long, long time!
LOLOLOL
Pam, you crack me up!
Art is definitely a keeper!
