I am is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my very close friend and one of my agility mentors, Marie Vihonsky. For the last 9 months, Marie has been in the ICU for numerous reasons, including a minor stroke. Unfortunately, Marie’s body wore out. I kept hoping she would make it, and I have kept her in my prayers while she was in the hospital, and I will still keep her in my prayers. I would like all of you to do the same.
I know that many of you have not met her, but I would still like to have her recognized. For those of you who have not met Marie, you would have really liked her. She was funny, very forward and just an all-around great person to be around. I am the person I am because of her, she was such a wonderful lady. I have missed her tremendously these last 9 months and will continue to miss her going forward… She made a big impact in my life with Poo-Key and Nina, and I will forever be grateful to her! Her knowledge for any dog sport was endless. She has showed and titled in a number of dog sports, but Agility was her ultimate love. I will miss her greatly! Rest in peace and THANK YOU for everything… I will never forget you! Have a safe journey, Marie.

Monica this is a lovely tribute to Marie. I did not get to know Marie like you did, but I remember watching her run her dog in agility from a wheelchair.
Yes, she would run her Shelties in a power chair. It was truly amazing what Marie would do with her dogs.
Goodbye to Jack Lalane, I always thought you would live forever.
I met him once in NJ—just a little powerhouse. Rest in peace, Jack. You inspired many people.
