Today I took my dogs, Poo-Key, Nina, and Lynn, and Julie’s Shepherd, Allie to an agility trial held in Dexter, MI. As the day started, everything was going good! Nina and Allie were in the first class- jumpers, round 1. Nina was in level 4, and Allie in level 2. Both Nina and Allie ended their runs with zero faults, and Allie even got the fastest time in her class!! Way to go Alligator! Did I mention, both with 1st places? 🙂 The next class was fullhouse. Fullhouse is a class where you can make up your own course, and well I planned a course that I would like to do, but Allie had another idea.. As she is a tunnel sucker, she went into almost all the tunnels on course, and still got the points needed, which ended her run with a 1st place! Nina also did did good, but I don’t remember anything special about her run.. She was just being that same, crazy Cavalier that I like! This was Poo-Keys first time back in the ring since the beginning of September, and man was she happy!! She only ran twice today, and her first class was fullhouse. I didn’t care about qualifying with her, so I just went out there and let her run and do that obstacles.. She had a good time! In the next class, jackpot, you have to send the dogs away from you and do obstacles… Lets just say that this run was a complete disaster.. But Allie had fun, thats all that matters! 🙂 Standard was last, and it was nearly 6:30pm by time we walked the course… This was a great run for Shepherds, it let the “big dogs” extend, and we took advantage of that!
I will buy some pictures from the photographer at the trial tomorrow, but here are some pictures from a previous trial-

Way to Go Monica and all the dogs. Sounds like you had some great agility runs and, most importantly, had FUN!! I love hearing the news about Ivan’s mom, Allie! How nice that you took her along with you to the trial. (I have never been to a CPE Trial. I’ll have to try it one of these days if there are any trials around here).
Good luck today.
Woo-hoooo! Way to go Monica! Congratulations to all and thank you for the great report.
GO Monica! I think Allie does better with you then me. She would do really well if I had trained her in agility! Can not wait to see the pictures. It was fun hearing about all the compliment you and Allie got.
