Great Christmas photos! Now you need to teach Ivan how to use the camera so that he can take pictures of you & Jack. Everyone has such good manners!

Thank you Lynda! Merry Christmas to you and your family. Very sweet Christmas photos.
Thanks Julie.
Both our cats are rescues and they both have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). When I was working at an animal shelter Owen (the orange tiger) came in as a stray. As he tested positive for FIV it would have been very hard to place him in a new home. We had lost our two elderly cats and had no cats at the time. Owen had such a great personalitly we decided to adopt him. FIV cats have to be kept indoors so they don’t spread the virus to other cats. We have a perfect set-up as we have a pen the cats can go out into through a window so they can be out in the sun etc but can not roam. Owen adjusted well to being an indoor cat. A few years later our veterinarian called us and said they had a stray black cat that had tested positive for FIV and they did not have anyone who could take him. They neutered and vaccinated him and I went and picked him up! He was very timid and I started calling him “The Shadow” as he would just appear out of nowhere and then disappear again. Jack named him Lamont Cranston! Lamont was afraid of our dogs at first but now is fine. Both of the cat are doing well and show no signs of illness.
Yes, you can refer people with questions about dogs and cats to me if you like.
I forgot to say…the trick to getting the dogs and cats all on one picture was Jack’s help and a little catnip on the carpet!

Beautiful Christmas “family” photos! I take my hat off to you for your hugely successful canine/feline household. The only way we can get DeNiro to stay somewhat calm whilst in the same room as Machui (our cat) is if he has tired himself out runing after Kora who will chase a frisbee until she drops.
I really did have good intentions of taking some Christmas shots of Matt and myself along with Kora, DeNiro and Machui. I even bought myself one of those infrared shutter release buttons so that I wouldn’t have to preset the camera on a timer then rush around the camera to be in the shot. Alas, time just got away from me this Christmas and I never got around to it. Maybe I will get a chance over the New Year Holiday.

Ahhhhhh what wonderful Christmas pictures!
Your cats are gorgeous! Are they also purebred? Can I send people to you for information on how to raise cats and dogs together?
Thanks Julie.
