Since it seems like it’s the thing to do, here are our annual

“da boys” snow pics.

It’s busy here in the

winter – we’ve got to check the bird house to make sure the

chipmunk that was hiding there last summer was gone,

there was garland to make, and kindling to gather. We have to chase the bunnies

at night, and track the deer that sneak through the woods.  We don’t know

what Michele and Garth would do without us.

That’s some beautiful snow! The dogs sure seem to be enjoying it. 🙂

Well these are true working dogs! Maybe you could start a business selling their paw-crafted garland? I missed getting the annual Halloween card this year. Good to hear from the da Boys up North!!! They are looking gorgeous.

They are doing great. Now that we’re into snowshoe season they’re having a blast chasing each other through the snow.

Ekko likes to jump up and grab the snow laden white pine branches and pull them off (usually dropping a load of snow on his head), providing the paw-crafted, or rather mouth crafted, boughs for garland.

Kirsch finds the longest stick possible and carries it back along the wooded trails. He has learned when the trees are too close together for the stick to fit between, to turn and angle his head to shorten the needed opening width for the stick. It’s amusing to see him trot up to the trees, stop and look at them, then turn his head to fit stick between them.
