My niece, Caroline, and her boyfriend, Brandon, who are going to university in Florida, came to Cape Cod this weekend to see us and to meet Ivan before heading home for the holidays. Caroline thought Ivan was very handsome and a great dog. We took several walks in the woods…..still no snow on Cape Cod much to Brandon’s disappointment as he has never seen snow before!
My Mum, Caroline and the “pack”
The “pack”, Ivan, Dylan, Danny & Daisy
Caroline and Brandon…at least they got to see a frozen pond.
Caroline is a very pretty! I think the cape looks marvelous without snow, Caroline’s boyfriend will just have to visit another time.
Thanks Julie…..Caroline definitely does not take after me in the looks department…but she does with her love of animals and chocolate!
Great family photographs. I echo Julie’s comment – Caroline is very pretty! Ivan IS very handsome and a GREAT dog! Dylan is very handsome too, and I am sure a great dog also.
The other two dogs in the “pack” are your Mum’s I assume? Funny you should say “Mum” – I always use the term “Mum” but I get laughed at for not saying “Mom”!
I think it is due to your influence Andrea…at least it is in my case…I only say Mum now. I like it better.
It’s funny, when I go back to England everyone says I have an American accent and use American terms, but over here everyone hears the British terms I use as they are different to the ones used here.
Thanks too Andrea.
Yes, Danny and Daisy are my mother’s two rescued dogs.
Both my mother and father (who passed away in 2000) are English and I have always said “Mum” which people found strange when I moved here!
That’s amazing – I have to share with you that when I first showed Matt your photographs, he said “Wow, Lynda has a look of your Mum”. As your parents are English, you have the English gene, so he obviously saw something there.
So were you born in the UK or the US? Where in England were your parents from?
