Merry Christmas!
Well here I am 2 1/2 years old and I have turned into a big (85 lb) fun loving girl! And I have had quite a year with my family. Last winter I camped in Florida for a month. I experienced quite a surprise when I dipped my tongue in the Gulf of Mexico…salt water! I didn’t like it. I also encountered crabs on the beach and I my Dad brought all sorts of weird things in on the end of his fishing pole. (I loved the fish dinners, but that Sting Ray it didn’t look appetizing at all.) I even went for a walk with my Mom and Dad and saw my first alligator! Different creatures in Florida.
This summer we were back on the sailboat and we even sailed under the Mackinac Bridge this year. We spent a month exploring the Les Cheneaux Islands. I loved every minute. We walked all over those islands and I really love to swim. (I won’t jump off the sailboat, but if my Dad ferrys me in to shore in the dinghy, I love to wade in and go swimming.)
Back home I have my own pets…3 chickens and one rooster. My parents grew a big garden and my favorites are the carrots. When they go and dig them up I’m always on hand to steal a couple out of the basket and go and munch them in the yard. I also have a new playmate named Lilly. When the grandkids come over to visit, they always bring Lilly and we play nonstop until they go home! Big dog FUN!
I hope you are well and having a great holiday.
Love, Opal Fuzz OX

Fuzzy Opal you look very pretty with your big red bow. It’s a lovely family portrait. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas Fuzzy Opal Family; what a beautiful photo. Your travels sound very exciting. I’d better not show DeNiro your message, otherwise he will have his bags packed and will be sitting by the door!
