A huge congratulations to Michelle and Brady (Alta-Tollhaus Epic – Digger x Maikalia) on earning their BH this past weekend. I was SOOOO proud of Michelle. Michelle and Brady were fantastic. Brady was very happy and upbeat and they were definitely an in-sync team. Michelle was cool and calm, as if she has done this sort of thing dozens of times, which in reality it was only the first time. Most impressive!

Gayle Kirkwood and Fenja (Alta-Tollhaus Fenja – Gorbi x Kira) earn their BH at Orange County Schaeferhund Klub under SV Judge and Körmeister Helmut König. Richter König had a very sharp pencil and the temperament portion of the BH was very difficult. Fenja has a rock-solid temperament and sailed through without an issue, her obedience portion was nearly flawless. Way to go Gayle and Fenja!

At the same trial Michelle and Brady earned their BH, Kira and I also had our first run at trailing in schutzhund. In Germany Kira earned her schutzhund 1. Nearly 5 years later, and only 4 months out from having her Joker vom Eichenplatz litter, Kira and I went for her schutzhund 2 title……and SHE DID IT! We did it! My gratitude to my schutzhund trainer and coach Gustavo Sanchez, whom without him we would not have been successful. Gustavo is absolutely brilliant …and immensely patient. Thank you Gustavo!!!

Michelle, Fantastic news! You have done so well with Brady. I love the first photo – he is working so well with you. I don’t know everything that’s involved with a BH but I’m sure it is not easy at all.
Gayle, I wish we had known you were at the Orange County Schaeferhund Klub Trial. We would have loved to meet you and Fenja. Unfortunately we were only able to be there on Sunday so missed the Saturday Trial. Congratulations on your BH and high obedience.
